    What Sells

Before you pay for an estate cleanout, sell these first

A cleanout crew empties a house by the load. Some of what rides out in the truck sells. These are pieces we sold from garages, basements and back rooms, with prices and dates.

An estate cleanout crew empties a house by a date and charges by the load. To the crew, everything in the house is weight. Some of that weight sells, and some of it sells for more than you would guess.

    01

What we have sold out of garages and back rooms

These are recorded sales with their dates. Our resale inventory means we owned the piece. Client consignment means we sold it for an owner. Prices are before costs and commission.

    The shelf of models

We sold 28 scale models for clients between September 20 and October 8, 2026, from $31.11 to $545 each. Most were 1:18 aircraft. Collectors search for them by maker and number, so the box and the paperwork matter.

BBI Elite Force F-16C Fighting Falcon 1:18 scale model
    BBI Elite Force F-16C, 1:18. Sold for $545 on September 20, 2026.

    What the crew can take

Furniture with no maker sells at local prices. A black particleboard dresser brought $40, a half-circle console table $30 and a steel desk with a plank top $30. If a piece is heavy, plain and worth more to you as floor space, let it go with the load.

    04

    The order to work in

    1. Walk every room before you book the crew. Open the drawers, the closets, the garage, the basement and the shed.
    2. Photograph labels, model numbers and signatures.
    3. Send us the photos. We tell you which pieces are worth selling, priced against what the same items actually sold for.
    4. Sell those first. With in-home consignment the pieces stay in the house while we list them, and local buyers come to your door.
    5. Then book the cleanout for what is left. A lighter load usually means a smaller quote.

Moving rather than clearing a parent's house? Read sell it before the movers come.

We work about 30 miles around Kennett Square, including West Chester, Media, Glen Mills, Wilmington and Newark. Send us photos before the truck is booked, or call or text (484) 873-8483.
